There is no doubt that cardio workouts are extremely effective at burning fat. However, many people dislike running, which is why we’ve compiled a list of 10 killer cardio exercises that are more effective than running.
Perform each exercise correctly as many times as instructed in order to fully benefit from the workout.
1. Burpees
Stand up straight, then bend your knees and touch the ground with your hands. Next, get into a push-up position, do a push-up, and then return to the starting position with your hands in the air.
2. Plank
Planks are the most effective abdominal exercise. It is extremely simple. All you have to do is get into a push-up position with your elbows bent at a 90% angle. Maintain a straight line from your toes to your head.
3. Squats
Begin by spreading your shoulders and legs wide apart. As you sit, keep your back straight as you go down with your butt. Hold it for a few seconds before resuming your original position.
4. Push-Ups
Begin by getting down on your hands and knees, with your hands beneath your shoulders. Then, on the balls of your feet and the heels of your hands, walk your feet back until you are in the plank position. Bend your elbows and lower your body. To finish, slowly make your way back to where you started.
