During the childbearing years, the majority of women, at some point, face uterine fibroids and cysts. Generally, these conditions are not a reason for discomfort, although in some cases hormonal fluctuations can cause some pain and bloating.
Fibroids, which are also known as myomas are benign tumors that grow on the uterine wall. Ovarian cysts, including polycystic ovary syndrome, are fluid-filled cysts that appear in the ovaries and are a fairly common condition.
