Who would have thought?
These three things – clutter, staying up late, and swearing or swearing – are generally considered signs of laziness, bad manners, and failure.
Well, recent studies say otherwise.
If you feel that you are one of the people with these characteristics, find out more:
In an article published in Psychology Today , it is said that human beings can ignore their biological clock and its rhythms. All animals have this thing called a circadian rhythm, which tells you when to sleep and when to wake up. Humans have it too, but we can change the pace.
This means that humans can choose for themselves whether they want to be morning people or night owls.
Great right?
According to the same article published in Psychology Today , there’s a chance that the smartest kids will grow up to be nocturnal. So actually, staying up late might not be a bad sign.
Another study published in the Huffington Post showed that people who “swear” or say bad words have a larger vocabulary. They examined participants aged 18 to 22, and asked them to name taboo words with a particular letter in a limited time and then asked them to name animals in the same way. It turned out that those who knew more swear words had a better vocabulary.
They also examined the effect of “swearing,” and it turns out that it relieves pain and stress, both emotional and physical. So if swearing takes away the pain, is that so bad?
The next discovery could be the most important of all. A psychologist at the University of Minnesota found that people who have messy, messy rooms also have more creative thoughts.
Having original ideas means that you are thinking outside the box. For example, if your clothes should be in the closet, but they’re on the floor and all over the room, that just means you’re thinking outside the box, not like everyone else.
Even Einstein, the smartest man who ever lived, said that “ if a messy desk is a sign of a messy mind, then what does an empty desk mean? «.
So forget about thinking like everyone else and leave your stuff lying around.
Laurel Thatcher Ulrich (Pulitzer Prize Winner for History) once said that ” well-educated women rarely make history .”
And she was right.
Actually, this quote can be extended to men as well. Forget everything you’ve learned before about not swearing, keeping your room clean, and not staying up too late.
According to these new studies, those who swear, have messy rooms and stay up late are smarter than those who don’t.
